星期天到忠源家吃午餐，顺便看一看他的女儿恩慧。
嫂子诗倩准备意大利面和咖喱鸡，我去厨房“观摩”诗倩的厨艺时发现到这个画面：
伟哥：“咦？怎么会有一颗蛋摆在靠近炉灶角落那里的呢？”
诗倩：“那是鸡蛋壳，放置鸡蛋壳可以赶走壁虎。”
伟哥：“什么？有这样的事？但是这到底是什么原理？”
诗倩：“这个生活贴士是在网上找到的，还真的很有效。听说是壁虎看到鸡蛋会以为是蛇蛋，然后就避之大吉。”
伟哥：“哦，好像还蛮有道理。但是这些住在城镇的壁虎应该从来没看过蛇，恐怕连蛇和蛇蛋长什么样子都不知道，还哪会怕咧？”
诗倩：“嗯……或许是遗传基因吧，天生就懂得躲避天敌。”
伟哥：“我想是壁虎的祖先世世代代口耳相传，传到现在所有的壁虎只要看到像蛇蛋的物体就要避开。哈！”
诗倩的厨艺还真的不错，跟我家的吉姆有得比。

伟哥最壁虎这么关注？
记得前不久伟哥住的那里有只壁虎哈？
Actually besides using chicken empty eggs (don’t wash so that stink smell will scare of lizards and the egg size is bigger than its size so they might think is SNAKE or DINASOUR) to get rid of lizards, i have ‘googled’ around and got some ppl suggestions:

1. Bela kuching!! (keep a cat as ur pet). They will help u to catch those lizards
2. An indian remedy – put a bunch of peacock feathers in the corner where they visit the most. they don’t like the feathery touch…. they will not visit that area ever again.
3. The “Chalk” thing – called “Laxman Rekha” and is a product made in India. I guess you could try in some Indian stores in your area. Just draw with the chalk and the lizards will stay out for a while. Then do it again.
4. To get rid of it from plants, sprinkle crushed moth balls in plant pot.
5. Spray them(lizards) with a solution of water and Tabasco sauce, they hate it and don’t seem to come back to the spot that has been sprayed.
6. To keep lizard populations down, simply keep insect populations down.
7. Use a product like CYPERMETHRIN [http://www.bugspray.com/catalog/products/page287.html]
for quick knockdown and control of outdoor roaches,
ants and crickets.
8. Glue trap!! Most cruel 1!!
MMm…reasons why i would like to get rid of lizards due to:
A. Bini aku takut kat cicak ler.. she will scream out loud when bump with them
B. Lizards poo/shit is dirty and disgusting! U can find it behind ur TV cabinet, floor, …etc. They might shit out on top of ur dining area ceiling while u r enjoying ur meal …*puke*
C. Very “watt tatt” sometime when u hear them “laughing” at no reason in the middle of the night or day time, sounds like “ngek ..ngek..ngek!!”
D. Try to avoid my daughter curiously picks up lizard poo on floor and eats it!
E. Try to avoid myself accidentally step on their poo, ..ouchh!! that kind of feeling is very irritating when u feel something wet/dry or stink underneath ur foot… *yuck*
But anyway, actually most lizards are harmless and they are “vegetarian”, they help u to catch bugs/insects around ur house… :p

anyway lizards not necessary vegetarian…they DO eat other things.
I tried the egg method. But it doesn’t work leh. The house lizard can’t be bothered.
